Create your own clothespins with this “do-it-yourself kit” by cutting out and gluing five category labels (Star Reader, Mood Detector, Mind Picture, Personal Favorite, Word Detective) to clothespins (not included). Students simply secure a clothespin in the left or right margin of the book to designate an appropriate word or selection to support the discussion.
